It may not be surprising to you that my first little crack at animal photography is with my very own little pet. Since I live in a rather tiny little apartment, the type of pet I can have is very limited. So far I have fish (I'll get to photographing them) and a ferret.
Our ferret, Molly, is pure white and super sweet. Like most ferrets, she has TONS of energy when she's awake but sleeps most of the time. We bought her a little bed which she hated at first and now won't leave unless we make her. I've been waiting for an opportunity to photograph her and up until now have really only had one great photo of her so I jumped on the chance tonight while she was sleeping quietly in decent lighting! I still plan on getting some better photographs of her in a hammock but for now I'm happy with the few I got tonight. Enjoy!
Just a quick p.s... She sleeps in the most hilarious positions!
The only good photo I have of Molly up until tonight:
Here are the ones from tonight!
Back to sleep...

Speaking of sleep, I might need some soon too!
Goodnight everyone and I hope you enjoyed this post!
